Applications

For optimal results:

• Thoroughly clean the bearings from any other lubricants using OKS 2610 or OKS 2611 universal cleaner.
• Blow out the bearings with dry air after cleaning.
• Remove any anti-corrosion agents before the initial filling.
• Fill the bearings to ensure all functional surfaces receive sufficient grease.
• Slow-moving bearings (DN-value < 50,000) should be filled completely, while normal-moving bearings should be filled to about 1/3 of the free inner housing space.
• Follow the instructions provided by the bearing or machine manufacturer.
• Define relubrication intervals and amounts based on service conditions.
• If old grease cannot be removed, limit the quantity to avoid over-lubricating the bearing.
• Mix only with suitable lubricants.
• Bearings filled with silicone grease must not exceed 1/3rd of the bearing’s permitted load.
• Avoid applying silicone grease to sliding surfaces under the influence of pure oxygen.
