Application Mobil Zerice S 68
Mobil Zerice S products are recommended for all types of refrigeration compressors: piston compressors as well as rotary screw compressors. They are very suitable for refrigerants based on chlorofluorocarbons and, under certain conditions, also with ammonia in compressors of certain manufacturers. Mobil Zerice S products should not be used with sulphur dioxide and R134A refrigerants. The viscosity grade should be selected according to the recommendations of the compressor manufacturer.

- Compared to mineral or other synthetic refrigeration compressor oils, Mobil Zerice S products show superior solubility in halogenated hydrocarbons. This prevents common problems such as oil separation and/or solidification on the valve and evaporator surfaces of refrigeration compressors. Furthermore, Mobil Zerice S products have a very low pour point and flocculation point. These help to prevent harmful paraffin precipitation which can lead to malfunction of expansion valves and evaporator surfaces. Due to their synthetic nature, Mobil Zerice S refrigerant compressor oils have both excellent chemical and thermal stability and do not react with refrigerants, thus avoiding oil-related malfunctions.

Product Description Mobil Zerice S 68
Mobil Zerice S are synthetic refrigeration compressor oils of the highest quality. They are formulated with alkylbenzenes which, due to their chemical nature, are highly miscible with refrigerants based on chlorofluorocarbons (R22). Mobil Zerice S can therefore be used for extremely low evaporating temperatures down to -60°C. Under certain conditions they can also be used in compressors with ammonia as refrigerant.
