Application of Castrol Magna SW D 220
Castrol Magna SW D 220is designed for the lubrication of all vertical guides where a demulsifying oil is required to protect the guideways. Magna SW D 220 is suitable for demanding applications such as grinding machines, horizontal boring machines or CNC machining centres. Magna SW D 220 can also be used as combined hydraulic and guideway oil.
Description Castrol Magna SW D 220
Castrol Magna & trade; SW D 220 (formerly Magnaglide & D 220) has been specially developed for the lubrication of guideways of machine tools. It is composed on the basis of solvent-refined mineral oil and additives to improve stickiness and extreme-pressure properties. Magna SW D 220 is a modern trackside oil and prevents stick-slip problems that often occur with slow-moving machine guides. The oil adheres well to the guides and is not pushed away.
