- Controlled air separation. Good air separation minimizes air entrapment in lubrication and control systems to ensure safe operation of the entire equipment.
- Low foaming. A minimal tendency to foam ensures proper lubrication and heat transfer.
- HSSE. Shell Turbo S5 DR 46 is an advanced low-toxicity fire protection hydraulic fluid that is free of trixylenyl phosphate (TXP) and is fully formulated from tert-butylphenyl phosphate. Is specifically designed to meet future EU REACH regulations for use in EHC systems.
